{"id":71,"date":"2015-06-24T13:58:37","date_gmt":"2015-06-24T13:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marccolbeck.com\/flinders-university\/?p=71"},"modified":"2015-06-24T13:59:46","modified_gmt":"2015-06-24T13:59:46","slug":"gohogs-hogowiwi-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marccolbeck.com\/flinders-university\/gohogs-hogowiwi-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"GoHogs (Hogowiwi) Attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a fairly new attack strategy for TH8.\u00a0 It\u2019s quite complicated and difficult to pull off, but if you get it right, it\u2019s an easy 3 stars.\u00a0 The premise of GoHogs is using the Barbarian King with some Golems to infiltrate the base and destroy defensive Buildings and attack Heroes.\u00a0 If you choose the right side, you can activate the Giant Bomb, then send your Hogs in once your King and Golems have done their part.<\/p>\n<h2>Pros of the GoHogs \/ Hogowiwi Attack<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Incredibly powerful<\/li>\n<li>Double Giant Bombs are ineffective against GoHogs<\/li>\n<li>Quick attack, no concern for time<\/li>\n<li>Complicated, if not done exactly right it can fail miserably<\/li>\n<li>Timing of Hog Riders can be difficult<\/li>\n<li>Does not work well against spread bases or those with centralized defenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**note: for other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loyalknights.com\/hogowipe-gowipe-variation-to-go-for-3-stars\/\">gowipe variations like hogowipe, click here<\/a> or watch the following video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/WWzFsG3C-Jw?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Cons of the GoHogs\u00a0\/ Hogowiwi\u00a0Attack\u00a0Composition<\/h2>\n<p>There isn\u2019t one best composition, you\u2019ll have to take into consideration the layout and composition of the base you are attacking.\u00a0 After using the strategy a few times, you\u2019ll figure out how best to approach a given base.\u00a0 The following composition gives you a starting point.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troops &#8211; 10-30 Hog Riders, 6-14 each Barbarians and Archers, 4-12 Wizards, 2-8 Wall Breakers, and 1-3 Golems.<\/li>\n<li>Spells &#8211; Rage and 2-3 Healing<\/li>\n<li>Clan Troops = 5 Hog Riders, 2 each Witches and Wall Breakers, and 1 P.E.K.K.A<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thoughts on arranging your troops:<\/p>\n<p>Golems and Wizards &#8211; Consider how far into the base you want to go<br \/>\nGiants &#8211; Consider how many directions you would like to attack from<br \/>\nWall Breakers &#8211; Consider how strong the walls are and how many layers you\u2019ll need to go through.<br \/>\nBarbarians and Archers &#8211;
